It is a new construction project for a building intended as a Residence for the elderly in the Gracia neighborhood of Barcelona with a capacity for 120 residents.

For the development of this activity, a building is projected with a depth of 16.72 m from the street Marte de Deu de la Salut, with heights of ground floor and three upper floors, and ground floor and four upper floors, adapted to the slope of the street, and following the alignment of the road in accordance with the guidelines already determined in the "Special Plan for the Specification of Uses and Volumetric Organization of the block delimited by the streets Virgen de la Salud, Antequera, Escorial, Molist, and riera de Can Toda."

In the interior of the lot, a garden at different levels is planned, maintaining existing elements and trees and adapting the construction to the perimeter walls through slopes.

Below the building of the residence and in part of the interior garden of the lot, a basement level is planned for parking and internal services of the center. The parking lot is for the private use of the residence and will have 19 spaces for cars and 8 for motorcycles.

The implementation includes the obligation, according to the special plan, to set back 8 meters from the current street alignment, significantly widening the sidewalk space.

On the ground floor, we find living areas, a dining room, occupational therapy, a chapel-event hall, a hair salon, and physiotherapy. There are also services related to personalized medical care such as the psychologist, the doctor, nursing, or the sensory room. And the administrative part of the center.

Access to the upper floors is through a stretcher lift and an elevator located in the center of the floor and a second stretcher lift located at the right end of the floor. Two staircases provide access and evacuation to the different floors.

From the ground and first floors, access is provided to an interior garden where existing elements and vegetation are preserved and adapted to the new building's layout.

The floors are organized into different living units by floor. Each floor has its own living-dining room, control unit, geriatric bathroom, clean and dirty storage areas, and adapted bathrooms for the use of residents and staff.

All the rooms and their respective bathrooms are adapted for people with reduced mobility.

Despite still being pending approval, the project incorporates compliance with the Modification of the General Plan for the urban and environmental improvement of the neighborhoods of Gràcia, which includes the neighborhood of La Salut.

Access to the basement level is made from the lowest point (on Escorial Street), therefore the most suitable, and this makes it practically at ground level, providing access to basement -1 corresponding to Section 2, which at the depth of the floor is buried below basement -1 of Section 1.

Part of this basement with vehicle access is designated for parking, the location of the transformer station, and internal facilities of the residence, such as laundry, kitchen, changing rooms, or internal storage. Where only the residence staff have access, but in no case the residents.
