The landscape as a tool for interpreting the territory 

Miriam García García participated in the conference "The Landscape as a Tool for Interpreting the Territory of Navarra" held on March 7, 2022, with the aim of presenting the Guide of Criteria for the Landscape Integration of Economic Activity Areas in Navarra, developed by LANDLAB. This guide aims to address the landscape dimension of economic activity areas. It acts as a measuring instrument among the different agents involved in their implementation and development, with the aim of making them more socially friendly spaces, ecologically functional, and integrated into the environment. It also offers a reflection on the possibility of landscape requalification of existing industrial parks and economic activity areas, as well as an approach to their future, and urges the establishment of bridges between landscape integration, circular economy processes, and adaptation to the effects of climate change.
