Project of Singular Regional Interest (PSIR)

The Singular Project of Regional Interest of the Pontifical University of Comillas in Cantabria involves the strategic planning of the current complex declared as a Cultural Heritage Site with the aim of transforming it into a University Campus.

The project is located in a sensitive and fragile area of the coast, between the center of Comillas and the natural park. The plan proposes to reuse the historic buildings that are part of the heritage ensemble on the university campus.

A reexamination of the site, its planning, landscape treatment, and functionality is proposed. Similarly, the document incorporates the mandatory studies from an environmental and landscape perspective.
