Miriam García participates in KLIMAWECHSEL in Vienna
García participated in the series of lectures on climate change "KLIMAWESCHEL," organized by the Central Association of Architects of Austria (Zentralvereinigung der Architekt*innen Österreichs) and IBA Wien (Internationale Bauausstellung, International Building Exhibition, Vienna).
On the second day of "Social?" —which addressed the social issues that architecture faces in the current context—the case study was the city of Barcelona. García addressed the topic of public space through the "Super Illes" project, emphasizing how cities can work to promote these spaces that make them more resilient to the effects of climate change and allow for a citizen reappropriation of public space.
