University of Oregon Barcelona Urban Design Program — Midweek Moderations Spring 2026

LANDLAB is pleased to join the University of Oregon Barcelona Urban Design Program as part of its Spring 2026 Midweek Moderations series. These weekly sessions bring together invited guests, the instructional team, and research partners to engage in critical discussions on contemporary urban design challenges.

As part of this program, Miriam García, founding partner of LANDLAB, will participate as a guest speaker on April 22nd, contributing insights from her practice at the intersection of landscape, climate adaptation, and territorial resilience.

The sessions take place every Wednesday at 6:00 PM (Barcelona) / 12:00 PM (New York City) / 9:00 AM (Oregon), creating a shared platform for transatlantic exchange and interdisciplinary dialogue.

The Urban Design in Barcelona program has, since 2011, been deeply connected to professional practice and government collaboration, building on director and faculty leader Philip Speranza’s long-standing experience living and working in Barcelona since 1999. This foundation continues to foster meaningful engagement between academia, institutions, and the built environment.

Please join invited guests, instructional team and research partners.
