LANDLAB drives the transformation of Pazos Fontenla

The transformation project for Pazos Fontenla street in Bueu takes a decisive step forward following the confirmation of funding from the Xunta de Galicia, which will contribute nearly €1.7 million for the first phase of the intervention.
The Axencia Galega de Infraestruturas has sent the agreement to the City Council, enabling 70% of the initial project cost to be covered, unlocking a long-awaited intervention to improve the urban quality of the area.
The project, developed by LANDLAB, proposes the conversion of this street into a boulevard that prioritizes public space, pedestrian mobility, and the integration of green infrastructure, strengthening Bueu’s urban and environmental identity.
The works are expected to be tendered during the summer, with construction starting at the end of 2026 and an estimated duration of 18 months, marking the beginning of a significant transformation for the municipality.
