Three and a half months after construction began, the cafeteria at the Abbey of Montserrat has reopened to the public. The studio LANDLAB carried out the renovation works, continuing the broader process of modernising the facilities and complementary spaces within the monastic complex.

The intervention forms part of a global strategy aimed at enhancing the visitor experience, through the renovation of the spaces dedicated to food services and their adaptation to current needs, both functionally and spatially.

This new phase reinforces the Abbey’s commitment to quality, hospitality, and architectural coherence across its public-facing spaces, consolidating a more comfortable, accessible environment aligned with the heritage value of the complex.
