Debate: “Urban Agenda 2030”
On September 25, Espai Mataró Connecta hosted the debate “Urban Agenda 2030 – Resilient Mataró: "Infrastructures for a Better Life," an event focused on reflecting on the challenges and opportunities the city faces in mobility, urban planning, and climate change adaptation.
The event featured the participation of prominent professionals in the fields of urban planning and public management:
Javier Ortigosa, head of the Mobility and Infrastructure Office of the Metropolitan Urban Master Plan (PDUM) for the Barcelona Metropolitan Area.
Oriol Altisench, Chief Engineer of the Barcelona City Council.
Míriam García, architect, founding partner of LANDLAB and commissioner of Mataró Resiliente, expert in urban resilience and climate change.
The debate was moderated by Meritxell Pineda, a consultant at Outlier, who coordinates the multidimensional study on resilience in Mataró.
The meeting is part of the process of implementing the 2030 Urban Agenda in Mataró, which seeks to promote a more sustainable, inclusive city model that is prepared for the climate and social challenges of the future.
