Cities for Climate Change

Miriam García participated on December 14th in a conference on cities and climate change, as part of the Climate Action Strategy of the Principality of Asturias, organized by the Vice Ministry of Environment and Climate Change. The effects of climate change are already perfectly perceptible in our daily lives: heatwaves, prolonged drought periods, intense and prolonged rainfall, and an increase in infectious and respiratory diseases caused by rising temperatures. In this context, working with nature can help prevent the worst impacts of climate change and the loss of biodiversity and ecosystems.
