In the landscape of Yebes, a promontory is delineated by a group of sterile materials originating from the excavation works for the housing construction realized within the municipal boundary. The plateau thus created with views towards the horizon, is the plot where the future cemetery will be located, and where holm oaks are buried beneath provisioning materials.

The aim is to make these holm oak trees breathe again as to provide a place in the shade for resting and enjoying the landscape, Next to the holm oaks, the burials (niches and graves) constitute a series of interlocking spaces. Life and death, sky and earth, blend in these hollow out spaces where we find peace and calm to remember our lost ones.

The cemetery is perceived in the landscape as a park in continuity with the surrounding territory. A world of smells, colors and dreams melting in the nearby fields and constructing a magic place among nature.
