Many beaches will be lost earlier by storms like Gloria than by sea level rise.

'The images of the Mediterranean beaches disappeared by the waves caused by the temporary Gloria are increasingly frequent on the Mediterranean coast. A frequency that endangers the viability and sustainability of some beaches, in the light of the scientific predictions that await the Mediterranean and that point to a greater number of storms and more virulent as a direct effect of climate change. '
