KLIMAWECHSEL - SOCIAL? [IBA Wien]

Miriam García participated in the series of conferences on climate change "KLIMAWESCHEL", organized by the Central Association of Austrian Architects (Zentralvereinigung der Architekt*innen Österreichs) and IBA Wien (Internationale Bauausstellung, International Building Exhibition, Vienna).

The second event: “Social?” —in which the social issues facing architecture in the current context were addressed— the study case was the city of Barcelona. García talked about the issue of public space through the "Super Illes" project, emphasizing about how cities can work to promote these spaces that make them more resilient against the effects of climate change and how to foster a citizen reappropriation of public space.
